This place is amazing! They had a printed menu for us since it was our anniversary meal. Our server, Kevin, took great care of us and the manager also came around to make sure everything was perfect. My hubby had the scalibut and I had the filet. He started with the gumbo and also added a side of sweet potatoes. Everything was absolutely delicious.
Fantastic all the way around... who knew that watermelon and cilantro would be so increadible!! Great experience.. waiter was amazing and personable.
We were in NOLA for Thanksgiving weekend. On November 25, 2017, a Saturday night we had reservations for four people, From the moment we walked into GW Fins until we left, we were impressed at every turn. The service, food and ambiance were all on point. We all ended up ordering the same entree, which was the Scallibut. A odd combination of halibut with scallops somehow grilled onto the fish. It was very evident that we had made a good call by our early (5:30 pm) reservation, days in advance, when we were seated Tue PM. The place filled up rapidly and was durn near full by 6:15 pm. And we found out why inasmuch as GW Fin's was excellent in all respects, excellent ambiance, excellent and attentive wait staff, excellent cuisine.
