great hardwoods and service Fine Lumber and Hardwood is located in a part of Austin I would not normally find myself in, but the wood selection is great. They offer milled and raw woods, great for a do it yourselfer who wants to try out all sorts of projects. They will rough cut the wood for you, so if you have a smaller vehicle, just know approx. the length you need and you can get it cut. I always bring a tape measure and chalk to mark my own cuts out though.

LOTS OF RARE WOODS TO PICK FROM Fine Wood and Lumber is a lumber yard full of great finds. They have wood that you wouldn't normally find in the regular hardware store, and sell it to you by the foot. They have milled and unmilled woods, which are great for the do-it-yourselfer who wants quality wood. They also sell cork by the roll, great for making homemade bulletin boards.
