My dog has an ear infection, I was quoted over the phone the charge would be approximately $61. $25 for exam and ear check, $22 for ear swab and to view it under the microscope and $14 for medicine. However I was charged $215. Granted he did have his nails clipped so that was $12 and was not included in the initial estimate. Won't be going back. I've never been charged that much at any other vet for a simple ear infection. I was also rudely hung up on when I called to discuss the outrageous bill with the vet.
