Serviced our vehicles for 20 years or so. Simply the best.
so far so good i went to finchers to diagnose a noise i couldn't figure out. i left my car there for the day. when i picked it up he told me i probably had an exhaust leak and told me to take off the heat shield to verify that. he said if i verify that's where the sounds coming from and get the part he would install it. he also scanned my computer because the check engine was on. he did these things at no charge to me. he seamed honest and trustworthy and hes been working in this small town for many years. Honest, affordable, and reliable My dad had been going to Fincher's for a long time, when he referred me I didn't think much of it at first. But when he was looking at my engine, saw my spark plug was broken, and installed one he "had laying around" for no charge -- I was sold. I've gone to Ficnher's for any mechanical problem I've had since then and he's gone out of his way to make sure I know what's going on (I know nothing about cars) and to work around my unique schedule (I work the graveyard shift). Fincher's integrity is Priceless Our family has had 12 years of experience with 6 used cars all being serviced and repaired at Finchers. We have gotten estimates from others and Tim has always been less expensive, but the most important thing is that Tim doesn't push to have you repair anything unless it is a safety issue.... Excellent Mechanic, Affordable Cost Tim Fincher is not only an excellent mechanic, but an honest one at that. I have had nothing but great experiences with him and his shop, nor have I heard any negatives from many others with whom I checked here in Healdsburg. Competent, Fair & Honest I have had Tim Fincher repair three separate cars and a truck over a four year period of time and find him to be extremely competent and completely fair in every respect. I especially appreciate his help in holding costs down by finding less expensive alternatives to overpriced factory parts (particularly European parts). Tim Fincher Auto Repair is EXCELLENT. I've been going to Tim for 12 years now. . .and in that time he has not failed any of my vehicles. NEVER have I been gouged or overpaid. Those who are complaining about prices simply don't realize that fixing cars is not often a cheap experience. TIm uses quality parts and quality mechanics. If you're local and using an out of town chain for your service, you're doing yourself and your community a disservice.
how do you like being cursed at? I visited this establishment because it came up first in the healdsburg area on most of the search engines for auto repair. I really do not like someone swearing, ranting, and slamming car doors. Even less so when I'm informed that is the owner of the establishment.I wont be doing business here. ever.I have found there are some smaller shops in town that are faster far better and less expensive. I'd just not recommend this one. Unless you like to be sworn at, and have your doors slammed.
Extremely EXPENSIVE If you show any sign of desperation in your needing of your vehicle. Hold on tight because he will take you for every single penny that he thinks he can get from you and do it all with generic parts but charge so much more for them. Shockingly so. Go there if you have the money to waste but you will be knocked over by the charge. KNOCKED OVER! Your best bet... buy the part on ebay and take it to another mechanic and say... put this in for me.
