Nice Atmosphere This is a great place to go on date night, it is located near the movie theaters. Go to the movies early and have a nice meal at Finbars. The atmosphere is nice, with indoor and outdoor seating and the food is very good. It's a little bit fancy for kids, but they don't discourage kids and they do have cheese pizza or will make butter noodles even though they it's not on the menu.
Another favorite I love Finbars! It's a fancy little place that lets you draw on the table with crayons. They start you off with fresh bread, vinegar and olive oil (so good). Everything I've had there has been fantastic. My favorite is the southwest Portobello mushroom ravioli. I'll never order anything else now!
i love the food here I love the food here. I usually get the pasta which is always great. The decor is nice and the staff is always very helpful. I would recoomend it to anyone but it's not the best place to bring kids.
Yummy Italian Fare Located at Metro Point at South Coast Plaza, Finbar's really does evoke the Eastern Italian feeling.
Bad service too expensive – The service is bad and the food is terrible on top of that the resturant is expensive. The drinks are watered down too.
User review by thurston323 – If you enjoy canned tomato sauce, frozen seafood this resturant is for you. However, if you dineout because you want quality food, this resturant falls way short. The food had no favor, the shrimp was bad and the restaurant manager was insensitive. The manager asked, "Is everything alright?", I told him "The shrimp is not fresh", He then said, "What do you expect are shrimp comes frozen and you can't get fresh shrimp at this price.".
