The best bakery downtown The BEST BAKERY DOWNTOWN!!! I love their biscottis and cakes. You can order mini cakes or the full size ones. Every coffee comes with a mini Madeline. Their macaroons are amazing. They also serve soups.

Financier Pastry Shop is THE BEST This is definitely the BEST pastry shop in NY. My husband loves the chocolate based pastries. Not only are the cakes and pastries tasty but they are so well decorated that you just can't resist yourself. I also love their vegetarian sandwich.

Yuck! – I sat next to the kitchen area eating my french toast and notice baby insects crawling on the kichen floor. I informed the clerk but she had the busboy took care of it. I could only imagine whats gos on at night. The Board of Health should check this place out

Poor service – The quality is good but a very very rude and disrespectful custmer service even from the chef Called Eric Bedoucha was extremly Cold ...seriously Good products and bad service means keep it to your self you're not the only bakery out there surout ici a New york

Fantastic Pastries – Once I discovered this shop, I visited every day during my stay. The pastry is the main draw - the strawberry-rhubarb tartlette is amazing and I had one almost daily. The pistachio macarons are also fabulous. Also the Frasier, Berries Tartlette and Opera are very good. The hot chocolate is just ok, but still good if you have it with a pastry plus it comes with a tiny cake. There is always a vegetarian option for both soup and sandwich. SHARP, Foreign object in my pastry!!! – I ordered a pastry from here...the small individual ones. I too it back to my office and bit down. To my and my co-workers shock, I s_xp-it out a sharp hard foreign object!!! I immediately took it back and was treated like c_r _p. They still have not fully addressed this and I am beyond dissappointed. BEWARE WHAT YOU MAY FIND NEXT time you go here. I would not EVER recommend this place. GREAT coffee and pastries – Love the coffee and pastries (especially their namesake ones, the financiers). Would be a 5 star rating if their service got a bit more consistent (sometimes orders get mixed up, sometimes the staffers are a wee bit grumpy), but their actual goods are terrific.
