She dismissed our concerns and then proceeded to flaunt her inexperience in spine care (we saw her at Physicians Neck and Back Center) by flagging my husband as needing clearance for cardio. He's a healthy male in his 30s who participates in competitive sports 2x/wk and works out every day. No family history or other risk factors (she didn't even ask). Dr. Figueroa was my doctor when I lived in MN 14 years ago. It is because of her that I have now been smoke-free for 13 years. She sugar-coated nothing - was honest with me from day 1 - I almost left her because of this. But now looking back, she made a profound positive impact on my life and I can't speak highly enough of her and her practice. If you have the opportunity to have her as your primary care physician, JUMP at the chance. She's absolutely wonderful.
