I've known Dr. Figarola since 1983, when he was still in psychiatric residency in NYC. I followed him to his first private practice. He was my psychotherapist through many lifecycle events (college, career, marriage...) and he helped me tremendously over well more than a decade to navigate through these. I have seen Dr Figarola for 15 years, He treats you like a friend not a doctor, Even at my worst depression, he was calming giving sympathetic and warm advice to me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Before you meet Dr. Figarola, you will have contact with his front desk receptionist Lori. She is void of kindness, compassion, and lacking in all skills necessary when dealing with patients. "When" and "IF" you can manage to "GET" an appointment with Dr. Figarola, you will receive your allocated time, but nothing more. Should you need to speak to him after your visit, you will not receive a return call. You can make another appointment, but that won't be for weeks, regardless of urgency.
