Loved iT, great people, really good food and great milkshakes and sundays to die for.
If you're looking for a fifties feel this is one of the few locations that has it right I think...good food and good service :)

Treat there best waiters like shit,Set people call out and leave before there shift and or don't show up for the shifts and pin it on another person. 2 good cooks actually work there and can make food. Seeing how one is now a prep cook. Girls kissing dishwashers in the freezer section. All in most waiters are either rude and don't care about there people they are serving forget to bring food till it's cooked. Then when it's under cooked they get snooty and slame plates down. I come here all the time in the morning, this is the first time I ever came for dinner... my mistake, mind you there must have been a total of 10 people and that does include us.. ordered hamburger medium rare get it well done, fries looked like they took from someone else's plate and refried.. then I ask for a to go container.. I am still here waiting 20 minutes later.. waitress brings check. . I am still waiting for container... This is the last time I will ever come here for dinner.. I am thrilled to have discovered the Fifties Diner this winter. I live near Albany, NY and go to Springfield with friends to watch Springfield Falcons hockey. We stop here before the game and enjoy good food, large portions and low prices. It doesn't get any better than that. If you are in the area you can not go wrong with the Fifties Diner. Why pay more for less elsewhere?
