Fifth Street Brewpub seems to be a very cozy, neighbor oriented bar. The bar tender was very nice, knowledgeable, and cute. She seemed to be friends with the people that lived in the neighborhood, but was still very friendly and attentive to me as well. The food I got to go was delicious and every beer I tried exceeded my expectations. The bartender gave me a sample of Fifth Date when she opened a bottle which I enjoyed enough to buy a bottle to take home. My new favorite bar in Dayton! The service can be slow, from past experience. I gave it another try last night, and I will not be back after my water sat close to empty the entire meal, and my chicken added to a full entree was 7$. That is ridiculous. Most everything is overpriced and the menu doesn’t even state how insane the cost is to add some protein to an already 12$ meal.
