Jonquil is the reason I have locs 12 years later. She took care of my hair for 10 years, even after she moved to Tacoma, I would drive from spokane 3 to 4 times per year. She even found a loctician in Spokane that is great with my tender head. And I've still never found anybody better at quickly and skillfully crocheting the New hair into my locs. This place is amazing! Joaquin is a dreadlocks savant!!! Her decades of experience shine in her craftsmanship. The whole experience from the initial booking to the finished product well exceeded my expectations. Professional, caring, quality and cleanliness are just a few of the adjectives I could use. Would highly recommend Jonquil to anyone in need of dreadlocks maintenance!!!!!
From the moment I sat down, and Jonquil began examining my locs in dire need of maintenance ; I felt myself to be in skillful, creative and caring hands. Jonquil's technique is wonderfully effective without causing discomfort. I felt that I had a spider spirit weaving my locs back into form. In my 25 plus years of having locs I feel that they are the best that they been thanks to Jonquil's skill, artistry and innovation.
Fantastic experience and my dreads look great! Amazingly gentle on my sensitive scalp; incredibly efficient and effective weaving technique (we got done in the time predicted and the roots are the *perfect* amount of tight); the kind of calm, positive energy and fascinating personality needed for an introvert like myself to feel comfortable during a long chair sit.
