More about Field Of Greens We have over 50 items on our salad bar. We have homemade soups every day and in the winter we add our mom's homemade chili. Our menu included made to order sandwiches and potato bar. You can buy a salad by the pound or our all you can eat Soup and Salad

Dont bother asking them to toss; they either dont know or just stare
Horrible customer service, horrible salad bar I work in downtown Topeka and Field of Greens is a convenient place to eat when I don't have time go anywhere else. The salad bar is pretty pathetic, but if you're on the run and don't care about quality, it's alright. I went in recently at 2 o'clock on the dot and they told me that I couldn't get food because they closed 30 seconds ago. I was appalled. The staff at this restaurant would rather throw food away than sell it to a customer that came in 30 SECONDS after they closed. ... read more
I dont give fives EVER. I love field of greens, and I feel their salad bar has wonderful variety. I would like to see them open for dinner, but I understand that at the moment the economy of downtown at dinner time does not support a full salad bar for the occasional customer outside normal lunch hours.
Field of Greens..Downtown Lunch Destination Field of Greens has been in Downtown Topeka for a long time. This restaurant has fresh food, great customer service and atmosphere. I go there at least 3 times a week and have never had a complaint. When they say homemade soups they really mean it. "Mom" makes the soups every morning. I highly recommend you give this a try for lunch. It is better to go early because this place is packed during the typical lunch time. Great Location Field of Greens: This has to be the best place to get a fresh salad downtown. Or get sandwich. with chips on the side. When you walk in the door you eyes catch the garden style atmosphere-the bright colored flower and pot paintings on the walls or maybe the metal faucets that are holding them up. It's not too noisy so you can be comfortable dining alone or talking with a friend. Yes it's smoke free. I work in downtown Topeka, so I go to Field of Greens often when I'm in a hurry. The salad bar is pretty pathetic, but it's convenient when I'm in a hurry. I went in today at 2:00 on the dot and the girl working there told me that I couldn't get a salad from their salad bar because they closed 30 SECONDS AGO. I was appalled.
