Scheduled an install of a light fixture in my backyard. Only after uninstalling my current light did the electrician inform me that they could not install my replacement light because it didn’t meet US safety requirements; despite this company having installed a similar light for us that did not meet “safety requirements” in the past. I asked why didn’t they inform me of this before doing any work, especially given their past performance of installing a similar light.
