After +2 years, our experience with Empire State Property Management was very disappointing. The property management ended our contract out of the blue. The management agreement allowed for a 60‑day transition period, but the team unilaterally shortened it to 30 days — and then closed our account less than 2 weeks later. I'm in a 5-unit coop and we signed up with Empire State Property Management about a year ago. It would be fair to say that it has changed all of the board members lives for the better! First, when we met with Matthew and our now building manager George to interview them, what they promised us, which sounded great, is exactly what we got...so they did not oversell us, which is important.
