They blocked my brokerage account for no good reason, and refused closing my account and returning my funds. I regret opening a brokerage account with Fidelity investments. Avoid Fidelity Investments.
Run Far, Run Fast. Liars &Thieves! Transferred money in, Fidelity will not release the funds for transfer between Fidelity accounts nor allow withdraw until over 3 WEEKS passes. "extended hold time to protect the investor" is their answer. Would like to give a negative score if I could. Closing all fidelity accounts. I now recommend Charles Schwab to everyone I know.
This is not a bank, folks. So don’t expect cash transactions. Sheesh. I visit this office at least once a month to deposit money using CHECKS. Transactions are always handled quickly and accurately. I have several accounts. My advisor at this particular office has always taken the time to explain various options to me and complete purchases quickly. If you are upset about losing money, perhaps you should consider lower risk investments.
