Trying to celebrate a friend’s birthday and as soon as we got there the bartender cut her off. Mind you she hadn’t had a single drink. How could he decide she’s had enough in the span of 5 seconds? I’ve noticed a theme in reviews about discrimination with the bartenders here. This absolutely checks out. Terrible place do not recommend
Worst bar in San angelo go downtown
We were there last night for my friends birthday and our whole group got shut off. I had half of a drink and a few other others had maybe one beer.. As we were walking out the waitress was standing at the door glaring at all of us. Not real sure what the deal was but we got mean mugged all the way through. We were quiet and drank responsibly, everyone had a DD. front 6/10 inside 9/10 only thing that stands out is you can tell they don’t change mop water when they clean up the smell is hard to stand especially while eating
They cut my friend off after 1 beer; firstly he wasn’t at all drunk, maybe 3.5/10 - slightly buzzed. They said a camera saw him leaning on the bar, but he was clearly okay. Secondly they didn’t even tell him, he ordered a beer (his first) and opened had a second , but it has been hours by this point. One of our group goes to order shots, and this is when bartender tells her our friend is cut off. It was so early in the night, this dude literally had a fetus—-had been nursing an Ultra.
