Went to Fiction for my parents 50th anniversary and Fiction was a huge disappointment. Why is service in the Tri Cities subpar. Very long wait times between service. At one point I timed the wait between service and it was 16 mins. Had to get up multiple times to find my server for service. Food arrived no salt or pepper on the table I had to wait again looking at my food waiting for salt and pepper. This is very basic service guys and you failed miserably. The food was so so. Outstanding food. Could not believe how good those avocado fries were! Cauliflower wings, spot on bites with a drink. Shrimp Mornay, out of this world. Pizza … ooh la la! Genuinely, each plate of food was just heavenly. Very hospitable staff. Receptive of requests and proactively checked in on the table despite a full house and them being very busy. We love their brunch!
This place is ok but there is a freaking $10 corkage fee for their own wine. So if you are looking to have a wine (from their own company) the wine is at least $10 more expensive. It's not shifty but man is it not good. I just feel like I got duped.
