My husband and I saw Dr. Hanna, for the first time for a pre- surgery weight loss, she was very attentive and caring, she answered all my husband an my concerns, The office in Jersey city is not the posh doctor office, but the people were very kind and welcoming. I highly recommend her.
Long wait. Did not answer my questions. Dr Hanna was trying to sell me her own prescriptions for synthroid, so I guess she makes extra cash on the side. Trying to force me into buying them. Instead of sending prescription to my pharmacy. Then did an ultrasound on my thyroid said there was a nodule. She made appt for fine needle aspiration, which I did. Believe it or not, I went to this woman back in 2017 in regards to a thyroid issue I was concerned with. When I asked her if my IUD birth control would have anything to do with it she kept saying “I don’t believe in birth control.” And wouldn’t answer my question. When I told her I needed my IUD for medical reasons then she gave me an answer. To this day I remember how awful this woman was to me and wish I would’ve reported her at the time. Very pleased again. I had a bad case of Covid so we had a teleconference which I was very pleased with. Dr. Hanna was very thorough and spent a great deal of time with me asking many questions and offering suggestions and she also told me how to best care for myself. I have total confidence in Dr. Hanna, she really listens n cares, unlike other doctors I went to in the past. A+
The office is great. I never wait for more than 25 minutes and the staff is very helpful and polite. The nurse who took my blood pressure was the first nurse in a long time who knew the proper way to take it with my arm resting evenly at my heart level and feet uncrossed. I am new to this office and I am very pleased. I am amazed at how thorough Dr. Hanna is. She asks many questions, provides much-needed info, unlike my last doctor who dismissed my questions. Extremely Long wait times(you wait in General waiting room for 1-2 hours , then escorted to a hallway outside her office where you wait another 15-20 minutes) the staff is disorganized. Loses paperwork, Loses Fax paperwork and your blood results, Rarely answers the phone , never returns a call from your voice mail message... After all that waiting, Dr. Hanna spends about 5-10 minutes with you to review test results without explaining anything in full understandable terms
I am new to Dr. Hanna and found her to be the best! She is very approachable and knowledgable. I felt immediately comfortable with her. She took plenty of time going over my past records and was very thorough when asking me questions. She listened and understood me. For the first time in ten years, I am on the right track with what she prescribed and her correct diagnosis. I look forward to being under Dr. Hanna's care for a healthy future.
