I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Stewart Kerr and his team at FHP Orthopedic & Spine Specialists. After visiting the ER with worsening back pain, I was seen, diagnosed, and in surgery all within two hours. It is rare to find a surgeon who truly listens and acts with such efficiency. Nice to be able to see a doctor on the weekend and not have to take time off work. Very pleasant experience and Dr. Kerr was very helpful and explained everything.
I’ve seen two providers at the ortho clinic, Dr. Huntsman and PA Shannon and have consistently received great care. I’m really grateful to have them here in Fairbanks.
Going to find a new provider- don't let the hospital be your only source of medical care! Here was my experience with orthopedics: They didn't have appointment availability soon enough, they took forever to see me when I showed up the 30 minutes early they force you to come, they provided minimal service yet they charged excessively, they didn't process my insurance correctly, and they took weeks to address what I needed for my prescription.
I travel from Anchorage to see Doctor Kerr. He is an excellent surgeon!
