Wonderful tour I now feel qualified to proclaim myself as a gin and whiskey snob. The tour was amazing and Catherine was so informative. The distillery is very knowledgeable, both about local history and about the distillery process. We had a fantastic time and the sampling at the end it was fantastic. It was a great way to spend an evening with friends.

Great experience! The location is down a short ally, and the facility itself is quite small, however, the experience was terrific. We opted for the $5 tasting of the gin and Whisky(ey). Catherine was very informative and made our tasting experience a lot of fun: history lesson, educated on gin and Whisky, as well, as a few laughs as we sampled the nectar. A short walk from Main Train station; well worth the time. Prices are a bit better than liguor stores and a whole lot more fun! One hour tours offered as well. Every second Friday music specials too!

Fun afternoon diversion Visited for the Thursday afternoon tour, and had a blast! Our guide Catherine made us all feel welcome and was super fun. The distillery is located at the end of an alley, and is quite small, but you can definitely feel the passion for crafting as you walk through the space. Definitely worth a visit - support local business!

Few Distillery Fun time with fun employees. Distillery isn't spectacular but the hooch is yummy. Crazy to think this little building produces all their booze. Definitely worth an hour of your life.

Cold Afternoon Frolic Evanston has a rich history and this is a fun hour to spend learning about some of it. Evanston's first distillery named in honor of France's E Willard, a major force in Temperance, offers some facts about Evanston's role in Prohibition, a few tidbits about how the 1893 World's Fair and how that relates, and a look into the art of distillation. Overall, entertaining. Not all of the facts were accurate, but close enough--unless you are a history buff! A tasting of about 8 spirits follows the distillery discussion. Nice choice for late afternoon. Buy tix in advance on website.
