If you like listening to trainers yell and have ongoing personal conversations with their clients in every corner of this tiny gym this is the gym for you. If you enjoy specialized equipment such as the reverse hyper used as a tablet work station or phone and towel holder this is the gym for you. If you enjoy people who stare at their phone 90 percent of the workout (I know that's almost every gym now) this is the gym for you. I've been a member at FeV for a few years now; it's really where I launched my weightlifting hobby. Great no-nonsense gym with a strong (no pun intended) and diverse community. I was a newb when I started, and never once got an uncomfortable or weird vibe from anyone. In fact, I stuck around BECAUSE I always felt super comfortable trying new stuff and looking like a newb.

I went to do a tour to see if this is a gym I wanted to join.. I never felt so uncomfortable. I truly believed it was because the color of my skin. Always be aware of your surrounding.
