It looks like the festival in New London is going downhill quickly. We were there on Sunday many of the shelves were bare. Also neither of the two electric carts for handicapped work. This is not the first time for that to happen making it almost impossible for someone on crutches to shop and push the cart at the same time. I'm very disappointed because they are the only Grocer in New London after Piggly Wiggly close down. I try to shop Remington's in Manawa as much as possible. Nobody is wearing masks at this store. When the employees ask customers to put on masks in accordance to the State law the maskless individuals are literally violent toward the staff. A health and safety disaster. DO NOT SHOP here if you are concerned about your health or the health of the employees.
This is a grocery store. Sells food for the community. Should be relatively understood and mandatory that food and customer safety is job one. For that reason, I find it absolutely flabbergasting and disappointing that they do not require face masks for all employees during this COVID outbreak. Last visit there a couple nights ago... not one mask in sight. Not one employee wearing a mask. Some of the most wonderful Employees. Kind and polite and thoughtful.
Had a bad day today. When I checked out not one hi from the checker or bagger, then to top it off not even a thank you. I love festival, but where are the manners today with kids. How about a hi, Hannah, it’ll make someone happy and a thank you also wouldn’t hurt.
We ordered a lumberjack themed cake for my dad’s retirement party and NL Festival Foods went above and beyond. We received so many compliments on the cake. Thanks guys!
