Mr. Ferriss is very helpful and informative. I informed him I wanted to dispute the county's assessment of the value of my house--it doubled! And I needed an appraisal to get started. He assisted me with understanding the housing re-valuation happening in the county, and how the tax situation may not be as dire as I had believed. He helped me to conclude that an appraisal, while a good idea, wasn't really necessary at this time since the houses all over the county were doubling in value. Great appraiser
AVOID AT ALL COST. Do NOT waste your time with this company. They are very UNPROFESSIONAL. In a refinance that we recently did, they made some mistakes in their appraisal report and appraised our property at unreasonable low value, and THEY REFUSED TO CORRECT THEIR OWN MISTAKES. Mistakes include [1] putting down the wrong sqft (somehow 20%+ sqft of my property vanished from their report), [2] putting down a wrong sales price for one of the comps (a comp was closed for 735K, they included this property and said it's worth 500... read more
The gentleman was very thorough and professional, and respectful of the house and property. Very fair on the appraisal also. Good company, good character, would recommend.
Mr. Ferriss showed up on time, was very respectful and courteous. He was thorough as well. Gave us a very good and timely appraisal! He was very fair and I recommend him!
