RecommendedGreat place, very friendly, picked out a date, they called 15 minutes before arriving, backed into driveway and made a sharp turn without going in grass, dumped right on tarp, Driver shoveled out the rest, very friendly too! Will definitely get another load in a few weeks! Highly recommend this family owned business

I wanted to give a shout out to Ferris Mulch for their awesome driver this morning. When he backed in my driveway and realized he couldn't drop the load where I wanted it without driving on the lawn, he drove back out, turned around and came back without touching the lawn! I love conscientious people!!
Quality mulch and compost.
Very poor Topsoil... It is also full of pieces of wood/branch pieces etc... Also they say it is screened with 1/2" screen? We found many particles that were a lot bigger than 1/2" (rocks, chunks of bark)... Better place in Brookfield, CT when it comes to topsoil...
We're at Ferris a lot bringing our brush and leaves. It's so convenient and the prices for mulch are very reasonable even with the delivery fee.
Great place for you Mulch purchases. One of the best reasons is for Laura in the office. She's friendly, energetic, and extremely customer oriented. She keeps the whole place hopping! Keep up the great work Laura
