He cares about the little things. Yes he does his periodontics but he discusses a plan of action and makes it work by working with the patient. He even has a dental hygienist who picked up the slack when the VA wouldn’t clean my teeth during Covid.

I recently had the pleasure of becoming a patient of Dr. Ferrin’s. I am over the top impressed with him and his team. He is incredibly knowledgeable, gentle, and caring. He extracted a tooth, placed a bone graft, and later an implant. All of this was completely painless. His exceptionally well trained staff even had me laughing.

I was referred to a periodontist from my Dental Doctor. We live in Crescent City, Ca and have to go out of town for ANY type of specialty Doctors. I looked up the Periodontists around our area. I called a couple office's which I wasn't too thrilled with. The Third Office I called was Dr. John Ferrin's office and I spoke with "Brittany". It showed their office was in Cave Junction, Oregon but she informed me Dr. Ferrin no longer had that office but they could book me in Medford, Oregon. I was quite anxious going to my appointment but Dr. Ferrin and his staff were very caring and reassuring. Everyone from the front desk to the dentist chair was so friendly and personable. Dr. Ferrin gave me all his attention and explained everything clearly. I never felt rushed despite a very busy office. His follow up care was over the top. I can't recommend Dr. Ferrin and his entire staff high enough.

I was referred to Dr Ferrin by my dentist, who voiced concern about the health of my gums and a tooth, which needed to be extracted. I received a very comprehensive dental examination from Dr Ferrin and a plan recommending the corrective care for the issues presented. I found Dr Ferrin's staff to be very warm, sensitive to my concerns and very knowledgeable in explaining the necessary dental procedures to me. I feel very confident that my dental care is in good hands.

They say first impressions are lasting and my first impression was fantastic! Dr. Ferrin is gracious, knowledgeable and highly skilled. In my first visit he checked everything very well and actually explained to me why he felt I needed a particular procedure. Last week he did some gum surgery and it has been relatively pain free. He himself even called me the day after surgery to see how I was doing. I highly recommend him. His whole staff is super good.
