We inherited a Ferrell tank lease from the prior owner. Initially it seemed ok, but after a few fills we had a large leak (150+gallons). Very toxic and dangerous. I won't even begin to explain the anxiety it raised. That was January. Luckily the driver put new valves on the tank and refilled. But we were never reimbursed fully for the loss. It turns out this tank had a similar issue with the prior owner which we were not made aware of. And now we've switched service providers and it's May. They completely wasted our time for 8 weeks. Said someone would call to schedule a site check. We called and used the chat almost every day for weeks trying to get an answer as to why no one has called to even schedule a check yet. Lots of apologies and “a manager will call”, “this is expedited”…no one called. Meanwhile it’s winter now and very cold. Eventually told after weeks and weeks, “we aren’t providing new service in your area”. What ever happened to customer service and accountability?? They just continue to provide ... read more
We're having an issue with our propane tank to where we would need a repair or a replacement. Was told they wouldn't do anything until it was emptied and then we would need to call to set up service which would then take them 3 to 4 weeks to come out. That would leave us completely with out heat for a month in the winter. Where Amerigas is able to come out in a week and half to get things rolling for us to ensure we were not without heat.
