Ferrell gas is king of customer no-service. There is never anyone one there that can fill a tank, if you leave it there to be filled they get to it when they can, there is no effort put forth to satisfy the customer, and dont try to call them, most of the time you get an out of town office. There has go to be a better place to get propane somewhere....

CHECK YOUR BILL AND SHOP AROUND!!! They are not the only game in town. I discovered back in February of 2011 from solicitor of a new gas company, that I paid \$1.50 more per gallon than the new company would have charged. I never thought to check the price or think that my LP gas company might over charge by such an incredible amount. When I was asked by the solicitor what I paying, and I didnt know, THAT is when I started checking. Not customer friendly. The above reviewer is correct. It is difficult to get anyone on the phone. If you call the 800 #, you could end up getting a representative anywhere in the country. I have been a good customer for 4 years - kept up to date with bills until recently. When I called the local office to try to discuss an overdue bill and remain on the budget plan, I was told they could not help me and gave me another number to call. We are new to the area and we had to order gas to heat our home. Needless to say, it is VERY cold outside and we ordered the gas on Monday, Novemeber 1st 2010(paid in FULL). It is Wednesday and we still do not have our gas, our house is VERY cold and I have a 3 year old in the home! I am SO not happy with them! i was thinking about switching from griffith to ferrel and when i talked to the lady at ferrel she was very nice and we set up to have them fill the tanks at 1 well come 1 two days later they never showed i called to find out what was going on and they told me that they couldnt come out maybe they could the next day (i was very upset being out of gas for days without a shower!!!!) and i told them no they said they would be there and they should have been there and then the guy has the nerve to tell me that since im upset it ... read more
I have had an awful experience with Ferrellgas. I have been pentalized for a mistake that was Ferrellgas fault for too long of a time. This problem has not been corrected and I keep getting the run around with the company. My propane bill was doubled. I think they just want to rip people off and over charge for their propane gas.
