I just wanted to give a great job to the driver we had from Ferrellgas tonight. I have to say in the 10 yrs we have been customers we have never had a nicer guy delivering our propane. His name was Vernon, he went above board called me on his way to my house and when he left and explained that he checked everything and that everything was good. I know the are real busy right now and working extra hours so the fact he took extra time to do the extras means alot.
Worst experience I've ever had with any company. They didn’t deliver my propane by the time they said they would 10-12 business days. I had to call them to reorder 3-5 business days. I had to call them 4 days in a row to figure out why I didn’t have my gas. After asking for a manager (which is a 24hr wait time. Ridiculous) the manager informed me that my driveway was too icy for delivery. She was not willing to rectify my issue, and not understanding that I cannot fix an issue that I don’t know exists, because they never tol... read more
Do not use them, when talking to them you think they are a great company, but in truth they are horrible! I ordered propane before the last cold snap; it took them a couple weeks to get it to me. They did not answer the phone, and if you put your name in the "Q" for a call back it would ring once if you were lucky, (on occasion it only rang a 1/2 ring, before it disconnected) I asked them if they knew about the issue and they said they did! so, I waited on hold probably a total of 4 hours to talk to someone, they were nice a... read more
I had numerous instances of bad service with this company. And when I first set up my account I was told that the only kind of billing available to me was metered billing. In which you have to keep an eye on your own tank and call them to come fill it. I have health problems so I am unable to go check the percentage on the tank often. So not surprisingly my tank has run dry a couple of times. And there's always some reason for them to make me pay more than I should have to pay. I would strongly caution anyone considering Ferrellgas based on my recent experience. Ferrellgas accepted payment for a propane delivery and then failed to complete the fill. When I called to ask why, I was told the tank was “too close to a structure.” The problem with that explanation is that the same company had been filling this exact tank, in the same location, for over a year, including performing distance checks and approving deliveries multiple times.
