Was traveling and lost track of the level. When I got back it was below10%, called and delivery scheduled for next the week. By then I was down to single digits and the big snow dump happened closing the highway. It was then going to be a week after that for rescheduled delivery. I called and pleaded my case (at 2% in the tank) and managed to get moved up a day. Made all the diference. Point is Ferrell came through. Thanks. Ferrell Gas had left me without gas more than once. They continually miss their delivery dates, and when they do they have no customer service beyond “well it happens”. Ferrell gas has left me freezing without heat without even an apology in more then one occasion even though I always order at 40% volume. Most recently they missed their delivery date at my house after waiting well over a week, then we had a blizzard so they canceled my order and reset the delivery time to be another 10-14 days out, leaving me waiting almost ... read more

I am a long-time 25+ year customer, and can tell you Ferrellgas is nothing special regarding customer service. Now-a-days, they subcontract business operations to out-of-state venders and do not maintain a professional in- house staff of well-trained motivated employees. Lame website may look good but it is temperamental in operation. Billing and bookkeeping must be watched carefully. You can do just as well or better somewhere else.

I am a long-time 25+ year customer. Ferrell used to be a great friendly personable company. Now after upgrading to a digital online presence and eliminating personnel, they have evolved into an incompetent dysfunctional organization with sloppy booking keeping. I would have given 5 stars over the last 4 years, but now contemplated 3 stars. The employees are wonderful...the new automated phone answering system and lack of local person answering has made it impossible to order. I will end up switching companies this summer.
