Customer service is non existent. Currently switching away from FerrellGas because of the poor service and I’d recommend anyone else to not consider them.
Our December 18th fill only lasted one month. We were out of propane from late January until February 14th. and when the truck arrived, he only had enough for a half fill. Driver left without leaving a receipt or notifying us. We narrowly avoided running out again only because the weather luckily warmed up. But the additional fill never arrived and we ended up cancelling it and began shopping for a different company to deal with. You aren't allowed to place an order until it gets below 30% but in the extreme cold the gas is used faster and it took 2 weeks to get our order and we were out of propane. This is unacceptable and during the cold if it will take 2 weeks for delivery you need to be able to place the order before the 30% level. I have not had a bad experience with them but this was terrible. When I would call they just said sorry we are behind. We switched to them because we were disappointed in our current service. The tank that they brought out ran dry because the gauge was faulty and still read 38%. They said they could come fix it in 3 weeks, during the coldest winter in a very long time. It took days for a “manager” to call me back and she told me she would look into it and then has never called me back. I’m shopping for another company. We put in a request for a refill two weeks ago. Just like their automated phone service states, we notified them before we got below 30%. We have three small children. They will not come refill our tank and have absolute no sympathy or desire to go to any lengths to offer help. It has been under 10 degrees each night and we are freezing. We do not recommend this company and plan to switch.
