Honestly I wish I could get my Mom out of there. I know they are not following the basics rules for assisted living care.They don't get her to her Dr.'s appointments, she receives no mental health care and that is what she is in there for. The staff are rude so when I try to contact them they cut me off and and talk back and forth to each while I'm on the line making fun of me. I haven't been able to contact my mother for a month and they refuse to let her talk to me on the staff phone and I'm pretty sure the resident phone ... read more
RESIDENTS, not patients, of Fern Terrace are allowed to move about as they wish due to it being an assisted living facility not a locked down nursing home. Who would be able to keep their sense of independence if they were told they could not go outside and enjoy the grounds? They staff takes every effort possible to enure the safety of the residents that they grow to care for as they would their own family. While my mother has been a resident of fern terrace Murray the staff and administrator have gone above and beyond any expectations we ever had! We have NEVER seen a resident wandering off the area! The inside and outside is perfect foryour loved one and if you go for a visit the administrator will sit and discuss any questions you have. Also the staff is never too busy to answer any concerns you have either by phone or in person! Fern terrace gets an A+ rating from my family!!!
Ask the locals about this place, especially the businesses in close proximity who find their residents wandering around without supervision. ;)
I wonder why there are no reviews of this business? Maybe nobody has anything positive to say about this personal care home! ;)
If you love your elderly folks, then don't send them here. The caregivers here are not qualified. They try but they fail!
