My mother lived there for 3 months and was getting bit from the first night she moved in. Her furniture was new, including a $1200 mattress. Mom had 3 medical doctor appointments and 1 specialist, along with 2 ER visits due to this. There are BED BUGS in this building, not only in Apt 103, but according to the exterminator, they are also in other apartments. They have sprayed for BED BUGS several times. I lived here in 2012, I always really liked the building and the tenants.. But I had a problem with the property manager. She is nosey, way past the point of doing her job... and when I moved out she lied about the conditions of the apartment and has ruined my credit.
The bed bugs... geez, stay clear
I will say the place is full of history. The windows are still in that have a matted view. The steps look ancient. There is a small nurses station in some apartments and the wall lights are beautiful.
