I lived here in 2012, I always really liked the building and the tenants.. But I had a problem with the property manager. She is nosey, way past the point of doing her job... and when I moved out she lied about the conditions of the apartment and has ruined my credit.
The bed bugs... geez, stay clear
I will say the place is full of history. The windows are still in that have a matted view. The steps look ancient. There is a small nurses station in some apartments and the wall lights are beautiful.
I live here as of Feb. 2014 and I was born here in 1957. I feel the history all around me and I feel at home as well. The management, staff, and residents are our small community. Come to bask in our history in the making. Phyllis Wilson.
