Went in for an oil change and alignment. I did go on a Saturday and not sure if they made the new guy work Saturday without any help but he did the alignment and when it was done the steering wheel was not straight. He then tried again and the “machine broke” to come back next weekend it was fine to drive. They did not charge me for my alignment but I went straight to another shop and the specs were horrible for the dealership tech to say he had it aligned with the steering wheel off. We were on our way on a 3 hour drive to get to Norman for a highly specialized surgery when the a/c went out in our 2015 Buick Encore. I quickly googled a Buick dealer and spoke with Todd on the phone who was very reassuring and put me in touch with the loaner car department where Lacey reserved a loaner for us. Had a recall for my airbag. Appointment was easy to make for 4-21-26. No problem with anything, until my drive home, about 30 miles later. Then, something scandalously "coincidental" happened. I noticed that my temp gauge was not working. So I pulled in to a gas station to check it out. When I again started my Enclave, the temp gauge seemed to be working again for a moment, then the needle went limp again, and the check engine light came on.
