This place is the bomb! Best Special Slice on the planet. They cook it so the cheese gets crispy on the edges....Salads are to die for as well. Love the booth seating.
Customer Service Sucks – I am NOT impressed with the customer service. We went on a Friday night. There are two registers, one for take out and one for dine in. Well the dine in line was long as hell & no one would come to the take out register to help get the line down. I asked if someone could take my order at that register & I was told it was for take out only. You would think that the manager would see that the dine in line was long as hell and at least try to take a few people in the take out line. But NOPE, they said t... read more
An Atlanta staple – I was torn between giving a 3 or 4 star rating here, so let's call it 3.5 stars. I really wanted to give it 4, but admittedly I've noticed some inconsistencies in the pizza as of late. In my opinion Fellini's pies are best a little less well done than some of the more crispy cardboardy specimens I've been served at times. Still, I can't complain too much. It gets the job done and provides a great casual hangout spot, whether you're talking about the Howell Mill location or any of the others spread around ... read more
Great place for a family meal – Bringing my mom and children with me from Nashville to a promotional modeling event, we only had one evening to eat a meal out in Atlanta. Fellini's was an excellent choice. The pizza was scrumptious and with their location and the restaurant's set up, we were able to eat outside and soak in the sights! We will definitely be back.
BOMB PIZZA – This particular fellini's is in the heart of midtown and has some of the best pizza in atlanta. I am originally from brooklyn so im kinda picky when it comes to pizza, and im tellin you right now that this place is the best and closest you'll find to new york style pizza in atlanta.
Cardboard Pizza – I don't know why Fellinis is such a popular pizza place in Atlanta when you have so many other better places to go! Sure, they have some good toppings but it's like eating them off of cardboard! Go somewhere like Slice or Mellow Mushroom, or heck, even pizza hut, for better toppings and a crust you can eat! I will never eat at this place again!
Thin-crust pies, quality ingredients. – In Short This inexpensive, easygoing locale is NYC corner pizzeria-good, but not always consistent. For the most part, though, pies are crispy and well-crafted, and come with a long list of quality toppings (try the Fellini's special, extra anchovies). Salads--the usual assortment of iceberg lettuce, peppers, onions and olives with creamy Italian dressing--are especially good. The white pie is the bomb.
I'd keep coming back – I lived right down the road from this location, so I would go often. The food is always fresh tasting, filling, and comes to you pretty quickly. Parking can sometimes be a pain in the butt. There are spaces availible in the back and to the side of the restaurant but on a busy night you're lucky to find one. I have only had a few minor problems with the food. It was never anything that wasn't fixed right off or that would stop me from coming back. I like that there is a place to eat outside which I take... read more
