The gentleman at Mirage, Port Douglas Store was rude and judgemental. Son and daughter came in to look for present for his girlfriend. Son was dressed casual, showing his tattoo. Was told opals were out of his price range and to “clear out” when he tried to take a photo of a piece he liked. There would have been a polite way to tell potential customer no photography, no visible sign was displayed to say so. Never mind, spent a decent amount at another, polite, jewellery shop.
