Dr. Alva did my heart catch and placed a stent in my right carotid artery. He did an excellent job. I was and am very impressed with him.
Did not have a good bedside manner. Wondered why I needed to ask for another opinion when he had told me how to proceed. Will not see him again.
He was more concerned with the quantity of patience seen and not the quality of time he spends with patience. Did not want to listen to my concerns; answer any questions; and told me, I have other patients I have to see. He spent all of 5 to 8 minutes with me. I am more confused now than I was when I went in!
