This review is on behalf of my dad, he is currently getting his treatments with Dr Felix Rodriguez. This review is mainly about his billing assistant Jennifer who is doing a great job, very thorough in explaining billing/coverage and going over and beyond in assisting my dad in getting his treatments, which in turn lessens the burden of the whole process. I have never come across such great efforts from a doctor’s office.
Dr Rodriguez-Pinero is an outstanding oncologist. He is data driven (an important quality) and he shares it with the patient. He is a caring and personable professional. His patients are important to him. I recommend him highly.
Good luck getting past the office staff. Two days before my first appointment "Casey" called in a panic about required paperwork she sent in an email. Problem was there had been no email. She needed a release form immediately. I asked her to resend it. She rudely hung up on me.. I got an email with 20 pages in it. I downloaded the release form, printed it, signed it, scanned it and sent it back. I printed the rest and filled it out before the appointment. I arrived and noticed their tiny waiting room was filled with people. ... read more
I was referred to Dr. Rodriguez after being diagnosed with a blood clot disorder by my primary. Dr. Rodriguez had me to do some extra tests before determining if I would need to continue taking blood thinners. I followed up with him for over 2 weeks to speak with him regarding my results (which clearly read positive!), his office kept saying they would have him call me, I continued to fax in my results in hopes that would bring attention to my file - never heard from back from him. It's been a month since I saw him last and ... read more
i met Dr Rod, about 6 1/2 yrs ago when taken to delray hospital with a DVT. it was my 4th or 5th. Dr Rod said he would get to the bottom of why i was getting them and he stopped at nothing until a diagnisis was found. he put me on the right meds and i have been stable ever since. he is dedicated to his patient.
Dr. Rodriguez is the worst MD that I have met. He has no compassion. I had an appt set up with him for 2 weeks to find out the results of my patho report to see if I had cancer. When I first called the office, no1 asked me what type of insurance I had. The office called me back a wk later and scheduled labwork for me to do. Still, no1 asked me about my insurance. I finally go into my appt and he refused to see me b/c he said he doesn't accept my insurance. And I still don't know if I have cancer
