UPDATE: After coming to the clinic to return the ointment I meat the head vet and we cleared things out - she admitted the miscommunication and offered to see my cat again free of charge. Still was a stressful experience, but good on clinic to make effort to right their wrongs. Had a very frustrating experience at this clinic: brought my cat for an appointment due to some suspicions of an eye infection - but it was very mild, and didn't cause any discomfort, so I was just being extra cautios. Had a very frustrating experience at this clinic: brought my cat for an appointment due to some suspicions of an eye infection - but it was very mild, and didn't cause any discomfort, so I was just being extra cautios. The vet was very nice and perscribed the treatment. However, after applying the treatment for a day the situation got much much worse, the eye was clearly inflamed and my cat was noticeably uncomfortable.
