Feldkamps west in Mahomet is the best.Friendly and fair! Always willing to work with me.
I was told by another company that I had an oil leak. Took it to feldkamp's and was told a very minor leak in oil pan and one in valve cover. Not big enough to do anything about it. Was not loosing much oil. That is why I never saw oil on the ground. Will the technician/mechanic there put dye in that can be seen with an ultra blue light and said to keep driving it till next oil change. I recently had to travel out of state for a few weeks and while I was out of state, I had to get my oil changed and just took it to the local Walmart. They informed me that I had an oil leak around one of the seals and probably needed to have that looked at. I told them I would wait till I got back home so I could take it to Feldkamp Towing/Mahomet Where I normally get my car serviced. Really good people went in for spark plug replacement and unfortunately one is crossthreaded but they kept trying upon request will do business with them again
Estimates inaccurate/overcharging, have been serviced by them multiple times with multiple vehicles. Paid a sum of almost 2k for 2 front rotors and a new single c02 sensor on my cat, after which I got quoted by several other shops/mechanics to run parallel and they said this was ridiculous. If you have anyone else you can go to first, go there.
