Today I needed to ship a small package. I was told that Federal Law required FedEx to check my ID prior to shipping. While I appreciate the person who helped me ship the package, I do want to clarify to her that: This is FedEx POLICY not FEDERAL LAW. FedEx can ask for my ID, that's fine however it is not a law. Very important how you communicate or state something is a law when in fact it is NOT. My head was spinning because I ship things at USPS never have they asked me for an ID.
