Last Friday we held our annual #FedExCares holiday event, “Jingle, Mingle & Give!" Approximately 500 team members donning purple FedEx Santa hats gathered to pack items for the Austin Street Center, a non-profit agency that provides safe shelter and meets the basic needs of the most vulnerable homeless, including veterans. Thank you to all of our incredible team members for supporting the community.
Special thanks to our team members from stores in Kansas and Kansas City for their continued support of Operation Breakthrough. Throughout 2019 they stocked pantries, painted walls, moved furniture, unloaded boxes, and more to help Operation Breakthrough on their mission to provide high-quality education and support services to the inner city children of Kansas City. Yesterday we welcomed Denny Hamlin to FedEx Office in Plano! Team members were invited to make a pit stop by the #11 FedEx show car. Roxo™, the FedEx SameDay Bot, also made a special appearance delivering Denny’s hero cards for team members.
