FedEx frequently extends the delivery window once the initial period ends with no delivery. However, today that occurred with an expensive package that requires a direct signature. To ensure safe and successful delivery, I sat at home for 4 hours when I had countless other things to do. Once my initial window period expired at 12:20pm, fed updated tracking indicating a new delivery time by 8:00pm. That amounts to an over 12 hour delivery window!! 12 hours! It’s insane.
This is where packages go to die... LOL it's the farthest place from Down San Diego but it is convenient to be able to take the 45 min. Drive stand out side the gate 10 min and get that package you been waiting on...
