The food here is so good, my wife (who is from Freehold) and I plan a trip twice a year from Greenville, SC, to spend the night and have lunch, dinner and lunch before heading down to see her brother's family in Beach Haven West. They also drive up and meet us for dinner and it's always a great time. Stuffed Mushrooms are a must and, of course, the pizza!
Our family has been going to Federici for over 70 years. My dad worked there in the 50’s when he was in high school, and it has been a family favorite at least since then. We live in Florida now, but every year when we visit our roots in NJ, we come back to Freehold; eat a Fed’s, desert at Jersey Freeze, and that holds us for another year.
I went to Federici’s as a small child with my Aunt and Uncle every weekend. Then again during my 20’s to 40’s. I don’t get a chance to get there much lately but it’s always been the best pizza 🍕 ever. Now my son works there. Thinking of you all and I’m so glad the damage wasn’t worse.
