Federal Triangle is an easy station to get to with a simple layout. It is also close to a lot of the most important smithsonian museums.
We've had so much fun exploring DC. Lots of walking. Best advice...rent a bike or a scooter to get around. I cant say anything bad. Lots of people of course but its just so much fun to explore.
