If I could rate lower, I would. Matt Echelberry came out for service and determined that we need to replace our 2 ton compressor and coil. Federal Elite required a salesman, John Bogart, to come to the house to gather the serial numbers on our equipment. Not sure why the technician, Matt, could not provide that information. John arrived and proceeded to provide us with a quote. This is the 3rd HVAC contractor I have had out to my house in the past 6 months. Josh spent hours going through my system to figure out the problem where everyone else had spent 30 minutes and tried to sell me an expensive part that they didn't know was the problem. He was here less than 2 hours after I called too. I really appreciate that he took the time to actually get my system running smoothly, testing it before leaving and taking the time to explain to me, a non HVAC person, what tests he had done and what the problem ... read more

I had an early morning appointment. Paul ( the technician) called to let me know when he would appear, a service I greatly appreciated. He was very respectful, and was not bothered by my dog, even though I did corals the dog in the livingroom. He cleaned and checked everything. He was very knowledgeable. I was greatly impressed. I certainly did not feel like a number, but as a person. I will definitely use them in the spring for my a/c checkup

Federal was quick to respond to my request for a failing AC system. Upon their findings, I opted for a complete heating and cooling system. Within days installers Hunter and Gary showed up and did a complete replacement install. They were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Very respectful to my wife and myself. Cleaned up after their work and even asked if they could do anything else. A pleasure to have them in my home. Would highly recommend Federal and especially Hunter and Gary.

We used this company when the capacitor of our AC went out in the hottest week of the summer, the technician (his name was Paul) came out on Saturday (the day after the 4th of July) he diagnosed the problem and had it fixed with the house filling up with cold air all in about 20 mins.
