Awesome Outdoors Shop! Come here for everything REI and Patagucci don't have! What a wonderful climbing store! Ice, rock, mountain, any kind of climbing, you can get the gear and advice you need here. Lots of backcountry gear and skis as well. Prices are average for high end retail goods and the service and knowledge is excellent PROS: Great advice and gear. CONS:
good source for skis Feathered Friends is a very nice place to find skis and related equipment. They seem to be very knowledgeable about cross-country, back-country, telemarking, etc. Of course they don't have the selection of the huge REI which is near the store, but Feathered Friends left a better impression on me as a place to look for skis and ask for advice.
Ski Place This place has plenty of ski and snowboard pieces that you might need on your everyday ski trip. They have clothing to boards and ski poles to goggles to even gloves! They have great experienced employees that can show you how to fit things properly and guide you through their isle of items. Learn from these pros please.
