These people are scum sucking bottom feeders. I have been on the Do Not Call list for years and yet these SOBs call my cell phone over and over without leaving messages. If they won't respect something as simple as a Do Not Call list for someone's cellphone, they are probably crooks. Plus, they use a Texas number when they are out of NV. As for the supposedly "good reviews" here, they are obviously written by someone at the company.
I've been on the National Do Not Call Registry since day one, but that didn't stop this business from calling me. In my view, a company that won't respect the Do Not Call list can't be trusted to respect its customers in any other way either.
My experience was great. I usually ignore telemarketers, but the company happened to contact me at the right time, and the representatives I spoke to on the phone were knowledgeable and courteous. They sent me an e-mail afterwards which allowed me to research the 2 gig system, and by the time the installer came out I was ready to add more components. I do not always write reviews but I received such nice service that I felt that I should. I contacted First Defense regarding a security system, the lady in the office was very helpful and was able to get me an appointment the same day. The installer was very very efficient and was able to get the entire system in less than 2 hours. He even cleaned up after himself and showed me how to use it. GREAT JOB AND GOOD WORK! My experience with first defense was everything I would want out of a security company. They were very respectful, courteous, and made it an easy process to get my home protected. I have now had the system for a few months and I absolutely love it. All the features that were described to me on the phone are functioning and working great. WONDERFUL SERVICE!! A++ I recently had had First Defense Security call my home to promote a new technology for home security. As I listened to the representative explain about the system and its features I became very interested in the fact that I could monitor my home security system directly from my iphone. FDS came by the hiuse on a Saturday afternoon recently wanting to sell their services. I was interested but wanted to talk it over with my wife who wasn't home at the time. They said fine but insisted on installing the upgrade to my current system immediately and have 3 business days to decline if I wanted. After discussing this with my wife we did decide to decline the offer and asked they they come over and remove their equipment. They did ONLY that.
