FDR State Park has become one of our favorite retreats, thanks to its easy accessibility from the Taconic State Parkway. The park offers a diverse range of trails, walking paths, playgrounds, and a spacious pool. It's a versatile destination that caters to both nature enthusiasts and families seeking outdoor recreation.
Huge public pool, which isn't easy to find in Westchester. Beautiful grounds. I think this used to be called Mohansic State Park when I was a kid, and our local town camp brought us here frequently.
