The best decision I made was choosing Dr. Shammout as my OBGYN. My whole experience with his team was like dealing with a trusted family. Dr. Shammout is friendly, professional and cares a lot for his patients. He politely and patiently answered all the questions me and husband had as first time parents. And Nurse Farah, I was so lucky that she was on duty on the day of my delivery. She was very kind, understanding, and supportive. I highly recommend Dr. Shammout and team to anyone looking for a great OBGYN in the East Bay

I don't think this doctor is too experienced with dealing fibroids. I ended up going to Sutter for robotic surgery, which wasn't offered here. Better outcomes and more treatment options at Sutter. The staff here are nice but very disorganized. I told them the date ranges I could do and they scheduled a date I couldn't do. Then I called four times to reschedule and they kept putting me off. Finally I just had to go to another doctor to get care. Glad it worked out for the best in the long run but I can't recommend this office... read more
Dr. Shammout at FCPP and his team of nurses were absolutely amazing through my entire pregnancy. As a first time mom, I had so many questions during and between appointments and Dr. Shammout was always informative and reassuring. He felt like an encouraging coach throughout my whole journey and it clear that he is passionate about his work and cares deeply about his patients. Choosing Dr. Shammout as my OB was the best choice I made!
