Bruni/Russe family food Anyone who is not satisfied at Joe Fazio's is more than welcome to not return, I am sure. This was my grandmother's favorite restaurant and it is also mine. I will happily make a reservation and drive an hour for dinner. I had actually forgotten all the times we went there for family dinners when I was young. It is an Italian restaurant and it is delicious. Now that my grandparents and all the family in Charleston are gone, it is nice to have those memories. I have had some inadequate service. Fair Food - VERY bad service We have had dinner at Joe Fazio's twwice and do not plan to return. The food was fair but the service was unacceptable. I have dined all over the world and have never been as upset by the poor treatment. When I mentioned it to the manager his reply was in effect - If you do not like it do not come back. We will be happy to do just that!

Nightmare My family and I have dined here for the very last time. I realize this is a family owned restaurant and that they say "Blood is thicker than water, but it seems to me that when you are in business you would be a little more grateful to your customers and possibly moniter the behavior of your staff even if they are family. Patty was very rude and biligerant with me when I tried to quietly send my salad back due to a long, black hair. She was very loud whick drew attention to us. Then when my wife discovered dried on... read more

Very Good Food We eat there about 4 Times a year and they always have very good food. On Mothers day they open at noon and it is quite busy you need revservactions. Price to me is quite resonable. A very nice place to eat. One of the best is Nells Special . My Mother loves it. PROS: Great food and a good price Cons: NONE

A Charleston Insitution This grew from a small hole in the wall to a large restaurant. The growth factor was the excellent Italian food that they offer. Whether you order a spaghetti dish or one of their original pastas like the Patty Ann, you will not be disappointed. My own favorite is their Lasagna. If you are going on a week end night, a reservation is a good idea. I recently took a large family gathering from out of town there, and we were all served promptly with very good food. The only bad part is that its location m... read more
